"Nobody should endure being hurt or treated badly. A lot of people speak of violence as a thing exclusively found among boys and men but it happens as well among girls and women. Sometimes we forget that a man might hit more hardly but he isn?t always the one that hits first".

"A girl slapping a boy in the face is almost seen as something romantic whereas the other way around is considered a crime. Each physical act as a result of rage is a violent act no matter whether it concerns a slap or a punch. If somebody treats another person that way, boy or girl, the victim should immediately seek for help from an adult he or she trusts".

"Although you might have never hit a boy but have you instead of doing it put it in words? Girls tend to use words fast and often without thinking about how cruel they might sound so that the boys, not able to digest them and defend themselves verbally, use the last resort: a slap. If you realize that you usually talk to your boyfriend in such manner, you do act in a violent sense as well".

"It might seem the easiest to do, but to do nothing is the hardest thing to do. If you simply wait for his rage to pass, there might come a moment when he starts talking about his problem. Since the relationship develops with the time, the couple learns well how to face the rage of the other, utilizing the conflict in order to strengthen the relationship. But sometimes, teen couples that have usually been little time together it happens that when the boy gets mad the girl challenges him because she is frightened and doing it for that reason the relationship often worsens instead of improving".
