"A lot of the adolescents get excited in front of people of the same sex. Later they agree or they don't agree to this excitement but in all cases the experience will recall emotions that confuse them. Often these situations occur in boarding schools where there live only girls or only boys because they hardly ever meet people of the other sex. Mostly it does not have a serious effect on the sexual identity neither does it influence the subsequent selection of a partner. Though there is to say that some boys or girls keep their interest for the same sex after they have had a sexual relationship of this kind".

"Most couples consist of man and woman. These persons are heterosexual because they feel attracted to the opposite sex (hetero means 'different'). But this is not the only way sexuality manifests itself. Some individuals feel attracted to persons of the same sex and are therefore called homosexuals (homo means 'the same'). There are also people that feel attracted to both sexes, to women and men. They are therefore bisexual (bi means 'two')".
