"Talking to a parent that is slightly drunk is like talking to a brick wall and if it happens, you get bored instantly. They will be in a good mood but twinges of remorse will soon occur as they realize that they don't behave properly. Thus they sometimes start being very generous while being drunk and might come across with some money, something they would never do in state of being sober. It is better to just let them to themselves and later, in an adequate moment, tell them with a sharp tongue how bad they have conducted. This will surely hurt them. They will be immediately embarrassed without you doing anything to it".
