Presentation and comments
Unfortunately there are not a lot of books that treat the topic of sexuality in a universal and understandable way for the adolescents. On the contrary there exist more books for the parents that explain how they should or need to understand their children.
This website made a first selection of the 6 most advisable books that are listed below (the idea is to extend this range of recommendations). Principally they are for you to purchase in order to have a reading that is helpful for both, parents and adolescents. However, this is not a discount for collective orders from schools or respective orientation departments as a chance to complement their libraries.

You can directly obtain these books in the libraries of each country or via the internet under the categories that are dedicated to book trade.
How to face the changes
Of the books we offer there are some that are made for the adolescents whereas others are especially dedicated to their moms and dads. The object each one of them searches for is as individual as its author. Whereas some try to calm the parents by explaining that supporting their children during this stage is very important and crucial to their physical and psychological evolution; others try to explain didactically and in detail which changes they will be confronted with and how to handle them.
Sexuality and intimate relationships
Sexuality and intimate relationships are the essence of the entire writings, omitting - in most cases - the emotional side. Generally, the available books are meant as biological guides - with its central topic of the reproduction and endocrine mechanism - they only differ in the use of language and tone of writing. Since the authors constantly refer to sexuality and intimate relationships, most of the texts are written in an open minded way without disguising or scolding. They show the adolescent how to accept, to discover and explore his/her sexuality and how to handle the pleasant feelings that may overcome him/her alone or with his/her partner.
Sexual relationships
Each one of the authors that has been consulted for this collection admits that there is a chance that a large part of young people is involved in sexual relationships. In that case the authors emphasise that it is important that the adolescent feels secure about being involved in this act of intimate devotion and at the same time respects the feelings of the partner.

The texts are generally to be seen as a guide for the adolescents, giving the best advices on how to handle the biological and psychological changes that they experience during the stage of puberty.

Under each text that represents the answer, there is the name of the respective author because not in all cases the answer belongs to one of the 6 books listed above.
